Hours of entertainment for all ages
Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. He had been playing a demo game we got many many years ago from Pizza Hut and he liked it so well he wanted the whole game. This is his favorite PS1 game so far! He loves the part where Spyro plays Ice Hockey, he just wishes they would expand that portion with more players or something. He "practices" on the ice for hours on end, but wishes there were more challenges in that level.Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. Works, but a little Misleading
The item was stated to be in very good working condition, but has lots of minor scratches and takes a little longer to read than other games. That being said, after you're done holding your breath hoping that the disk is readable, the game runs continuously without problems.

RIPTO'S RAGE
I find this game quite enjoyable but I do not think it was as good as the original Spyro The Dragon game. It definitely has lot of changes. I missed the fun part of rescuing crystallized dragons and venturing through a medieval fairytale-like atmosphere. Ripto's Rage did not quite give me that same feeling. However, I do like the fact that it introduced new characters and added more dialogue (with subtitles) which gives much more of the game's story. It is a lot more challenging than Spyro 1, and sometimes you cannot complete a whole level until you are taught how to complete other obstacles such as swimming or climbing. Oh and yes! Spyro can now swim too, which makes the game more fun! The Spyro game came in a Totino’s pizza roll box ,which is CLASSIC! I thought that was pretty cool. It was well wrapped and protected. I work at the post office and get a kick out of seeing what people ship stuff in lol. The game came much earlier than I expected and the disk works perfectly! No scratches on the disk and the case was in good shape for being pretty old. I used to play this game when I was much younger and I loved it. One of my favorites for the original PS, maybe the best of the series! Easy enough for younger kids to get through each level and challenging enough for adults who want to complete all the various tasks & challenges to achieve 100% completion! Awesome graphics for its day (don't forget it came out in 1999!), extremely fun gameplay, funny & lighthearted dialogue, fun characters, and fantastic music (coming from a musician myself) by the inimitable Stewart Copeland! Fun, fun, fun!!One of my favorites for the original PS, maybe the best of the series!
