Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Duel Transer pits players in head-to-head battles based on the rules of the real-life trading card game, featuring characters and settings from the third-generation Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series. The game highlights the fast-paced motorcycle duels and incorporates over 4,500 Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, including the most recent additions available at the time of the game's release. The single-player storyline was written for the game. It is set during the second season of the anime series, and introduces 20 new duelist characters. The player adventures across the island of Ragnarok, defeating key opponents to progress. Between matches, characters move on a hex-grid world map, which allows them to explore and choose which encounter to attempt next. The game's two-player modes include the option to use the Wii's Wi-Fi connection, for head-to-head battles between Duel Transer players across the Internet. The initial retail release of the game comes packaged with three exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! cards: "Closed Forest," "Fighter Ape" and "Roaring Earth."

Perfect 5D's Game!
This game was awesome! My kids are loving this! We felt so lucky to find the game with the actual unopened cards inside! Has a great play and story that goes with the 5D's characters.

I like slow paced games that you stop and think for 10-15 secs. I used to play this as a child. A wonderful creative updated card game. It has been in business for 10+ years so this is a lifetime of enjoyment for many generations for some.anime ty hobbyist. A collector and strategist with artistic representative of the cards strategies. This game is suspense, twist, surprise, because of trap cards laid down so you can't see it. But each can be devasting if your actions were wrong to avoid them. You can control the twists of traps if you pull the right combination of cards before hand. It is a game of 80% skill strategically and 20% luck. I wish they can list cards by season released theme packs in the card search menu though. And percentage completion is listed in ... Up to 4,000 different cards to learn and master different themes that match your favorite type of warrior, dragons, birds, aqua, field magic terrain advantage, counter cards, magic, beast, zombie. Each with their own high emphasis of attack variations.

A fantastic game! Endless replay value!
If you are a fan of Yugioh this game is a must have! This game features almost every card from the yugioh series which opens the door for many great deck ideas. It is very user friendly which makes it great for those just starting but also allows for the harder strategies of an expert. You can duel online against friends or anyone in the online community. Overall I believe this is one of my best game purchases because it has endless replay value and is a great way to duel when your friends are all busy!If you are a fan of Yugioh this game is a must have!
