    Only aware as the series is almost over.

    Wasn't really sure in the beginning, as there were characters that were rather confusing. As it progressed, became more interesting. Again, the sound quality is rather poor and combined with the English accent is hard to understand. When numerous copies are made, it degrades the sound quality.

    GOOD PERIOD PIECE

    The settings are much more realistic and the story line more believable than most production on the subject. The King was the weakest in the production. This is a production for people who like history and have some knowledge of the period. It is not for the novice. You can get lost in the number of characters and events going on at the same time.

    The actors are fine English actors, the script is based on the first two of a trilogy of books by Hilary Mantel (Wolf Hall & Bring Up the Bodies). They portray a fictionalize biography documenting the rapid rise to power of Thomas Cromwell, who served in the court of Henry VIII through to the death of Sir Thomas More, followed by Cromwell's success in freeing the king of his marriage to Anne Boleyn, through Cromwell’s beheading by order of Henry VIII. The majority of Tomas Cromwell’s life is undocumented & therefore unknown. However, with Mantel’s meticulous research, a picture of Tudor England and life in the court of King Henry VIII is revealed as exciting, treacherous and heartbreaking. Excellent.     The Great Matter

    This movie portrayed Thomas Cromwell and his struggle to make King Henry the 8th happy. The scene at the end of the movie showed how dangerous this tyrant this king was. Damian Lewis at his best!
