It really is that good. An example, the rediscovery on board, believe it or not is round and round. Such a thrill it felt like a 3 part musical bonanza. I had forgotten how good it could be! Just you imagine what the rest of this release must be. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! THE COW PALACE is all that needs to be spoken! Do it, Charlie

If you like GD music then you'll like this show, but if you are ambivalent or don't like GD music then don't buy this. To the question - is it a good value - that depends on what you pay for it. For ded heds, GD live cd's are an anchor to a positive psychedelic experiemce but it is no replacement for a live show.

If you like the Dead, then you will like this album. It's a little rough around the edges like almost all of their live music but I think that is what every Deadhead loves! It's an older show from when they were young. I was too young to see them at this point in their careers so it is nice for me to have this show. There are some good songs on these albums but it's definately not one of their best shows-but I bet everyone had a great time!!
This is the Grateful Dead in there prim in the mid 70's After listing to this at a friends house & owning a boot cassett copy from years ago, I just had to have this in my collection. There not a bad song on here Blues for Allah came out around this time. If you like that you'll love these 3 cd's from Cow Palace New Years 1976
