Best travel kettle.
I looked at other reviews on travel, some took ages to boil, some burnt your fingers with steam through the lid so I dismissed them. This Russell Hobbs was more powerful at 1000 watts but it was about £4 more. I plumped for the Russell Hobbs anyway and I'm glad I did. It boils reasonably fast, it pours well and it doesn't burn your fingers. You get two good sized cups and two spoons that all fit inside the kettle. You can also go online and registers it and get a 3 year warranty like I did. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this kettle, it's a good brand, well made and does the job perfectly well. Switch design seems AWFUL. Difficult to use, imprecise, awkward. There seem to have been many other complaints along similar lines about this aspect of the kettle yet it does not seem the manufacturers have shown any interest.

Travel Kettle Highly recommended
Boils fairly quick, is quite noisy so you know when it has boiled, easy to lift as it is for my elderly Mother who has spasms of shaking but it is quite light for her to handle even when full. The only drawback is you cannot remove the plug so could be quite dangerous around water if not supervised. Great Travel Kettle
I thought the water might take a long time to boil but this did not prove to be the case. It was used during a two week holiday without any problems. It also has the advantage of being light. Would highly recommend.
