My appreciation of good music
I have the vinyl album of the Five Bridges but was delighted to have a CD which I will eventually put onto my USB plug to play in my car. It must be one of my favourite pieces of music along with Colosseum Live. Thanks for allowing me to air my views.

Five Bridges by The Nice.
Generally overlooked album by prog rock progenitors The Nice. At the time it was genuinely ground breaking... and is a must have for any serious fan of progressive music. The performances are uniformly excellent and the general listening experience is a great improvement on the original vinyl release....recommended.

Five Bridges - the most fantastic musical experience ever!!
Pure genius! What can I tell you? Experimental 1960s music, complete with Keith Emersons showmanship keyboard-playing, abstract sounds, and Lee Jacksons idiosyncratic lyrics blend perfectly with the classical talent of Bach, Sibelius, and Tchaikovsky under the baton of Joseph Eger. In many ways this is typical of the 60s sound, but in other ways, it was, and still is way ahead of its time. Pure enjoyment from start to finish, but never dull or boring. The musical equivalent of a blaze in a fire-works factory!Pure genius! What can I tell you?
