Being a fervent forager, and owning a few fungi reference books, I have something to compare this to. Geoff's book is a good read, very well thought out/laid out, very informative and has great photos to back it up. Whilst it doesn't cover 1000's of fungi, it does cover all that's required from an enthusiast's point of view. Recommended.
