I USED IT during weedinis in my lumix g7 videos, i really love the f1.7. Now I dont have to use high ISO. The only issues is sometime it lost the AF and takes a lot time to get it back. My 14-42 is fast but this 20mm (in low light) takes lot of time. Sometimes i change it to manual focus.

It's sharp, as most simple primes in this focal range seem to be. A good, all purpose walking around lens for small M43 cameras. Some say the autofocus is a little slow to focus but it's as fast as it needs to be for most uses.

Best pancake, one of the sharpest lenses I’ve ever had. It’s not the fastest to focus because of the motor, but it’s worth it if. Then I got the Ef 40mm 2.8, which is also awesome, sharp and slow as well. Just waiting for FE and R mount pancakes. I love pancakes.

Just added this gem to round out my Panasonic lens collection: P4-14, P12-32, P42.5 1.7, P45-175. Sharp wide-open and renders beautifully. Supposed slow focusing not my experience at all with Panasonic GX7. Just great lens overall.

I use this lens together with the Olympus OM-D M5. It looks great on the camera, feels well built and provides fantastic quality for such a low price. This is my one and only native micro 4/3 lens (my other lenses are legacy 50 and 100 mm Canon FD prime lenses) and I don't feel the need to buy any other lenses.
Great Sharp lens.. It has great use for many point and shoot situations with the BMPCC. I can't wait to use on some upcoming projects... I kind of hate the plastic feel, but it still isn't a deal breaker. Again, it is really sharp and my camera communicates with it really well with the autofocus feature.
Great focal length and very clear. My wife has shot a lot of beautiful video with it already.

I bought this camera for my blackmagic pocket cinema camera. I think it works great with that unit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, fast and wide lens. Build quality feels high and focus feels smooth and tight.
9/10 Pros: Smooth focusing ring which gives you superb manual control. Sharp lens throughout all apertures, at f1.7 the image is surprisingly sharp and far exceeds the corner sharpness of all my other lenses at a similar f stop. Focus peaking is very accurate. Fast autofocus lock. Cons: The focusing motor is noisy, the sound is picked up by the onboard microphone when recording video but is not an issue when using a external directional mic on the hotshoe mount. 37mm filter thread, an adapter can be bought to use existing filters but its just one more thing to carry.

This is a great little lens for micro four thirds. My only complaint is that the focus can be a bit slow and hunt a fair bit in lower light.
