Guardian's Crusade starts off innocently enough: The mayor wants you to deliver a letter to a nearby town, and being a fine young knight, you agree and head on your way. But how could you know that you are taking the first step on a grand journey that will decide the fate of the entire world?<br><br>On your way back from the town, you discover a pink monster known as Baby and receive an ominous message about a place called God's Tower. Taking care of Baby is just one of the many problems you'll face as you fight the forces of evil.<br><br>The game is categorized as an RPG, but it includes unique features, including the capacity to change how Baby reacts in battle depending on how you treat him throughout the game, and the inclusion of 70 Living Toys, non-player characters which you collect throughout the game. These toys have special abilities like ninja skills and healing, which can help you in battles.<br><br>Guardian's Crusade is compatible with analog and Dual Shock controllers and requires one free block of memory.

    My favorite game of all time

    It's a vibrant and fun game!! Maybe the story is cliché or the overall graphics are blocky by today's standards, but it was amazing at the time it came out. Even then, the story has its own unique twists and the cgi cutscenes are still very impressive. Lots of little details to enjoy in the game (events play out differently depending on how you've done the story so far, npcs change dialogue after big events, one of the main characters comments on nearly everything you can inspect, etc.) and an interesting take on how you use abilities in battle (wind-up toys that deal different types of damage, can heal, etc.). Decent replay value, as you can miss getting a lot of the toys and even doing a whole dungeon during the game. I highly recommend this game!

    A great RPG for any RPG addict.

    Guardian's Crusade is a fantastic game. One of the earlier titles of the PS1 & it shows it age, but that doesn't effect the experience you will have with it. The story was light hearted will still being mature enough for an adult. The translation is a bit shaky with typos & errors in text, but again not enough to effect the experience. I enjoyed it immensely. Hope you do too.
