It was slightly better with greased poles. For the price it's acceptable but would be so much better with a few enhancements. I am unable to use the screws to tighten the guide rails as the hole diameters are too large and unthreaded. There is excess radial movement of the chuck so I cannot ensure the accuracy of the position of the drilled hole. Would not recommend this product.
