After the 1969 lunar mission, architect Alessandro Poli with Superstudio considered it critical to imagine our environment as connected to the new reality of outer space. AUTHORS Architect Michael Maltzan is designing the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Administration Building for NASA that challenges existing models for housing scientific research, and proposes a new type of physical environment to facilitate a collaborative research process.
