Landscapes far and wide are photographed and combined with extracts from poetry and philosophy to illuminate the varying and changing attitude that man has had towards the natural world and its representation. IMAGES OF NATURE is divided into a number of sections: Prehistoric, Celtic, Medieval, the Landscape Garden, Romanticism and Modern. The book contains a gazetteer describing the key places associated with particular attitudes and representations of the natural world. IMAGES OF NATURE is part evocation, part description, part elucidation and part guide book. The extracts of poetry range from Celtic nature poems to extracts from Four Quartets by T. S. Eliot. Places photographed range from Nun Appleton House, where Andrew Marvell wrote his poem The Garden, to Stonehenge, Avebury, Stourhead, Chatsworth and over 100 other inspiring places.

They are replacing one that they still have in stock though unfortunately are unable to do so for the other three so are issuing a refund for these.
