    Apple MacBook Pro Retina 15.4, mint condition refurbished 2015-vintage

    No way was I going to pay two grand for the new MB Pros released late October; I was after a 2014-15 model with two USB ports, a card slot, two Thunderbolts and a headphone jack (I'm a part-time music reviewer). This fit the bill nicely; is very light since it hasn't an optical drive. It also has 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD – spinning discs may spin in their graves. The Retina screen is notably superior to an ordinary one. Item arrived exactly as described, with nary a scratch on it, no duff keys. A bit disconcertingly, it arrived with the administrator password field blank; the seller had left it that way deliberately, and I was able to install necessary extra software and printer drivers by just clicking 'OK' past the security challenge. Get one like this if you can, there won't be ...

    All good apart from the charger.

    The macbook itself is great and as stated there are scratches and dents but the screen is spotless so i dont really care. Only complain is the charger that even if compatible smelled bad and got worryingly hot straight from the first charge,could've even spared including that fire hazard, id rather spend 20£ for a decent one than risking to have my house on fire.
