The plane was shipped in a corrugated cardboard box covered with heavy plastic. The box was well padded with crumpled-up heavy-weight wrapping paper all around the plane. The plane itself was wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. As such, the plane arrived in the USA in perfect condition.
