The book I bought was reasonably priced and when it arrived it was in the 'Like New' condition specified in the listing. However, when I saw that the seller had not shipped the book after more than 15 days had passed since my order I felt I must write to say that I had actually placed an order with the seller and inquire when it planned to send the book. The brusque reply was that a tracking number was available, but no number HAD been created until I pointed out that I had placed the order.

  • This is a GREAT adventure story

I think the book is aimed at young adults, but I think older adults would like it too. Set in current day Britain, a young man is at an orphanage that is actually a "sweatshop" working the kids long hours. A boy helps rescue a girl and they escape from the orphanage. It is quite an adventure as they have narrow escapes but reaching London with the police on their tail. They meet new people who are willing to help them, while also learning that the boy may be of noble birth. This is the first book of a series that will continue the adventure of the hero and heroine in this story.

  • Tom discovers he is the missing prince of his family's lost crown.

Hold On To Your Hat!!! Except for the very first of this second book in the Britfield series, movement is fast and furious! Tom and Sarah are shipwrecked into icy water and rescued by people unknown to them. Not only that, these people refuse to let them leave once they've recovered from their narrow escape from death! How to escape??? That seems to be their daily conundrum.
