    Item as described and arrived promptly. Packaging was a chunk of random cardboard very roughly folded around the item but luckily it arrived unscathed. Item arrived in the nick of time before the spicy pillow that used to be it's battery went pop and burned someone's house down. Luckily this is easy to remedy (and a dead battery was expected) but sellers please - do check carefully for 'vintage' lithium bombs when you're dealing with these old electronics.

    Purchased to take on holiday. Didn't want to mess about with batteries, so bought a 9v adapter plug. Quite a bit of hum on the amp as it's turned up, though may be due to adapter plug not fitting all the way into the socket; if this is the case, Marshall should supply one with it, as I'd happily have paid more. Also reverb would have been a good addition. Sound quite good and certainly ideal for such a small amp. Overall, it's okay, but could be better.
