John Madden Football '92 is a sequel to the huge hit John Madden Football. New to the sequel are four weather conditions, instant replay, two-player cooperative play, quaterback injuries, review and overturn pass interference calls, and a larger variety of audibles. Play modes include pre-season game, regular season game, playoffs, and sudden death. Quarter lengths can be set at 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The 28 standard teams are recognizable by their city name and team colors while players are identifiable by their uniform number.

    The beginning of a dynasty

    Was collecting the retro Madden games that brought me joy so many years ago. Madden 92 for the Sega Genesis was the beginning of my obsession of the worlds video gaming can open for you. Loved how you could pick the player packages and you could see the huddle. Passing got an upgrade from what we had before. A classic indeed!
