Packaging was a chunk of random cardboard very roughly folded around the item but luckily it arrived unscathed. Item arrived in the nick of time before the spicy pillow that used to be it's battery went pop and burned someone's house down. Luckily this is easy to remedy (and a dead battery was expected) but sellers please - do check carefully for 'vintage' lithium bombs when you're dealing with these old electronics.
