    Useful compact tuner

    The Fender tuner works well. Using a contact mic, it listens more to your own playing than those around you and responds with resonable quickness as you change notes. I have used it on a trumpet and a trombone, and lent it to a violinist who had similar success. My only question will be about battery life, as it uses a 2032 coin cell to drive the color display. I've used it for 8 hurs or so with the battery included, and it is still working with useable brightness.

    Fender clip-on tuner

    Had problems getting the battery cover to close. Then stupidly left the fake face cover on till it hit me that it was meant to be removed. After that it worked well except the lines are very hard to see with old eyes like mine. The "in-tune" green line is a single line and not only very thin but seems dimmer than the rest. I much prefer the SNARK at three times the price.

    Great value, great fit

    This clip-on can clip between the strings and the headstock just behind the nut on a Fender. I use a lot of Fender guitars and basses, and it's the only tuner I've found that does that. Also, it's reliable and accurate. It's well worth the price, which is lower than most tuners.

    Must have for any string instrument tuning especially guitar

    I had a few clip-on tuners before and they were doing decent job. This one is ahead all of them when it comes to precision. With Fender clip-on tuner you'll hear a difference once instrument is tuned with it. What I love about it is really cool display, very futuristic and easy to use.

    A versatile tuner at an unbelievable price.

    This tuner is capable of being customizable for specific instruments w/o having to program it. Simply select one of the five instrument categories and tune away. It has auto time out when unused for a period of time. The display is easy to read in all but the brightest light conditions. Contact with the instrument being tuned is essential, since it does not have an expensive mic / amp input. Also it does not generate an audio output . The compactness makes this tuner a delight to carry and use and the youngest user should have no trouble operating it. ...A worthwhile investment for any musical student or performer.
