      Replacement units work great.

      We love our Biddeford blanket but both controls stopped functioning (no sign of life) following a power surge in the neighborhood. We found replacements for the exact model on eBay and purchased two. Both were cosmetically good and work perfectly. This time we plugged them into a surge protector. Another note: Search YouTube for a video that tells you how to test the blanket. If the blanket is bad a new controller won't help.

      Exact replacement for failed unit

      I'm amazed to find these available to replace ones that have gone bad. Our electric blanket is well over a decade old and works great but the controllers go bad. This is the second one we have replaced and it's so much better and cheaper than replacing the whole blanket.

      I miss biddeford, they have left the market

      I already have a biddeford electric blanket, I wanted extra parts, that go with that blanket, in case one of the controllers stopped working. The controller I received is good
