    Exact factory replacement at a discount price

    My existing Samsung icemaker, approx 7 years old, quit because the plastic ice sensor arm quit rotating (apparently a common problem). Removed old icemaker, installed new one (took about 10 minutes) and it's been happily making ice ever since. A lot cheaper on eBay than some other places.

    Excellent replacement

    Good replacement product. Actually works better than original ice maker. Fairly easy install. Two screws holds it in place. Took longer to get the power cord plugged in place than to do anything else.

    Fixed - that is until the next time

    Value and quality are a nebulous thing when it come to Samsung and their products. These ice makers work until they don't. When they don't you need to spend some bucks and replace in kind. Until the next time. I suspect that included temp sensor is the underlying problem with these but that part is non replaceable since no item number is found on any parts list.

    Plug and go.

    Worked right of the box and we have plenty of ice. I’m hoping the design of this is better than the OG since we had problems with the sensor wire catching causing our OG ice maker to quit dispensing. Shipping was fast and it was packed well.
