    'Hour of the Gun' Interesting but not factual.

    Used, but in almost new condition. Price was reasonable for the condition. Purchased just for 'Hour of the Gun' as I am interested in Wyatt Earp the man not the legend. Made for entertainment only, characters poorly developed and embellished. Based on what I have read, characters were portrayed by much older actors than the actual participants. The Earp Vendetta was glossed over and what was portrayed added little to the story. Glaring embellishment added was Wyatt killing Ike Clanton, which he did not, history verified Ike was killed by another lawman. If you want an interesting western movie this is not bad but if you want factual history pass on this.

    lawman with burt lancaster was the best hour of the gun was also good, as was day of the outlaw.

    in all three of the movies the leading actors did well all the movies, where action movies and good movies to watch.if you like westerns three are all good.

    Three Great Westerns

    Day of the Outlaw is the most gritty of the three, and Lawman is a study of the blurred lines between right and wrong, good and evil, while Hour Of The Gun is another take on the OK Corral story. All three are great selections to be trio-ed.
