    Apple TV

    I bought it to transfer photos from my mobile phone on to TV screen. It works really well. Once it is set up it's easy to use. I had to get help from a "techie" friend to help me set it up in the first place. It only works with new TV screens that have a HDMI socket. Given those limitations it's great!

    Honest opinion

    I bought this mainly because I wanted to mirror my iPhone or iPad on my 50" TV at home & for that purpose only. This works brilliantly :) I did have a look at some of the TV app's, but all but a few were not free & you need to subscribe to & pay for, which was a little off putting. However, I did manage to find a few Channels on there that were free to use like Sky news, Redbull & a few others. All of the movie apps you had to pay to view if you wanted to watch a film. I bought my Apple 3 TV box 2nd hand (refurbished) & the money I paid for it, I cannot really grumble. I did not get the Apple 4th gen box, as I read a lot of people saying it was not all that good, the only difference being you could add app's, but what's the point when I can simply mirror my iPad on my TV?

    A great addition to home viewing so easy to to use,good picture quality and sound. With a house with multiple tv's the atv is very simple to transport to any room so no arguments who gets to watch which programme,everybody happy. Worth every penny/pound.
