Player arrived well-packaged and works great! Seller originally overcharged for shipping but quickly refunded the difference—much appreciated. Unfortunately, the remote included wasn’t the correct one as advertised, but after I found a compatible one myself, the seller agreed to reimburse me for it. Despite the hiccup, they were honest, responsive, and made things right. A trustworthy and honorable seller. Would definitely buy from again!

SONY IC Recorder ICD PX312 / 333 Micro SD PORT FUNCTIONALITY

5-Star because the Micro SD port FUNCTIONS PROPERLY!!! Over time my previously purchased SONY ICD Recorders (PX312 & PX333) have had the port STOP FUNCTIONING!!! Even the ones purchased BRAND NEW!!! T he trick is to use a 32 bit chip and LEAVE IT IN ONCE YOU INSTALL IT!!! Hopefully that will ensure it will work for the life of the ICD.

  • Excellent value and relatively short learning curve!

I have this model as well as the px370, which is quite similar but with a retracting usb connector. (Not a huge issue for me.) The px333 is somewhat easier to operate, and the speaker is almost twice the size of the px370, which makes it modestly better for live music playback. They both have a fairly intuitive interface. The only thing that bugs me about the px333 is that the whole unit is "shiny" plastic, which I personally do not care for on any electronic equipment. That being said, the px333 IS excellent for lectures and recording conversations; plus they're both good for book dictation and can interface with certain versions of Dragon Naturally Speaking.

  • Love the Sony Mini Portable Digital Voice Recorder (ICD- PX333)

Thank you! Got here just in time! My last recorder is "memory full" and I needed a new one. I record about 1 1/2 hours per week of lectures and I was due for a new one. I prefer this model "Sony Mini Portable Digital Voice Recorder (ICD-PX333)" over the newer models. I haven't figured out what I am going to do once these are no longer available, so again, THANK YOU for having one available for me.

  • Upgraded from an ICD-P320 to an ICD-PX333

My older ICD-P320 was not compatible with Windows 10 and work-arounds became aggravating. I chose the ICD-PX-333 because it was very similar in layout to the ICD-P320 but with improvements. I was able to switch the recorders and continue my work without having to re-learn how it works. The ICD-PX333 is a sturdy, well designed recorder with great memory including a microSD expansion slot, a USB port for direct-connect to my Win 10 computer (using Sony's free Sound Organizer software for Win 10), and jacks for external microphone and headphones. Very satisfied.

  • Dragon likes it

I use the PX333 for dictating and then having Dragon Naturally Speaking transcribe my recordings. It works well as long as I speak clearly. I use rechargeable batteries. There is so much "space" in the memory that I probably won't need a separate memory card. Dragon likes it and so do I.
