    One of Sean Connery's best non-bond movies

    Back to the cold war era, where everyone is watching everyone! Connery plays the top Russian Submariner of his time having trained most of the russian submarine fleet. Now we have a significant game changer in the world of nuclear conflict where we can knock on the door without warning, a stealth submarine! As the premier Submariner commander, Connery takes out the latest hi-tech submarine the russians have to put it thro' it's paces. However, all is not what it seems. Connery as the commander has already gathered trusted officers and together they intend to defect, taking this hi-tech sub with them. The Americans already aware that this new sub is different are trying to play catch-up on what this sub is capable of etc. Jack Ryan plays the part of a naval historian, writer, ex naval ...

    It was very good and just what I wanted but I found the sound was poor and I couldn't access sub-titles so I missed some of the dialogue. But it will do. I probably won't watch it much.
