Very pleased with this kit.
I fitted this kit to one of our large Decathlon Btwin 7 bikes also with the Yosepower rack battery, see photo. As seems normal with kits of this type it required some fettling to seat the thicker wheel axle into the QR size drop outs. As our bikes also have rear suspension I also had to make a couple of brackets to move the rack back from the bikes standard rack support points so it would not bump on the seat post. The front stays also ended up being short as a result so I extended them with some tubing. All these custom fitting mods were simple to to. In use the kit and battery has transformed the bike particularly on the hills. The motor can hardly be heard with other ambient noise and is very smooth. The battery system is easy to use and well made. I also managed to fit the ecu into the front space in the rack. The pedal assist has been exactly what we hoped it would be for tackling the hills or just going longer distances and doing the shopping (we also have fitted paniers on the rack). Alice in Yose power support has always come back quickly with information having got over occasional language difficulties. :-) The display and speed controller supports a myriad of customisable settings to enable things to operate entirely to your own particular preferences. A very high quality product at a competitive price. Nothing beyond low level technical capability needed to fit. The purpose made connectors are excellent. Delighted. We will be out cycling much much more as a result.

Can be slightly improved, good kit for the money.
I'm happy with this kit, two issues I found fitting it to a normal hybrid bike with freewheel 7 speed, really difficult to squeeze the back wheel in place with the included spacers in the box, they have a ridge on the spacer, and for me the spacers are too thick, so much so I am going to file them down to make removing the wheel easier if I ever get a rear puncture. Second issue the pas sensor is thick, to fit it you remove the left side crank arm, if you have a chunky crank arm the pas sensor can practically touch the pas sensor, in my case I made the crank arm thinner with an angle grinder rather than fit another wider bottom bracket, so my pas sensor and crank arm have a bit of space now.If the pas sensor and crank arm touch you are going to find it hard pedalling. Apart from those two issues this kit has been well thought out, cables are mostly colour coded, and have moulded directional arrows so you can see which way they join together. I was emailed all the instructions for the kit, and the LCD display when buying, inside the box there are also instructions for the LCD. I used a 700x32 tyre which fitted easily onto the wheel, I didn't need tyre levers to get it on. Controller box is smaller than I expected it to be, it fits neatly inside the supplied triangle bag. Wasn't impressed with the provided crank remover, I used my own in the end.A freewheel remover is provided in the box and that is good enough quality.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good stuff but not compatible with some bike parts
Good peice of kit which i have been impressed with so far. Installation was a bit of a pain however. Firstly the wheel only goes with a freewheel cassette rather than a freehub-cassette which is far more common. I had to order a new freewheel cassette to fit this onto my bike. Also The pedal assist sensor didn't fit on my bottom bracket axle without a lot of modification. I had to take a file to it to remove a lot of the areas which were rubbing against the crank. Doesn't come with installation instructions and I had to look up some generic ones. Got there in the end but took me a few evenings!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent quality conversion kit.
