However, because the story offers branching paths, gamers will want to replay it to experience all the content.In addition to the single-player campaign, there are many multiplayer options included. Players can compete locally with their buddies or online against worldwide opponents. There are both cooperative modes and many competitive modes. This title was the first one in the series to use the Horde multiplayer game type. In this game mode, you must survive against 50 waves of increasingly difficult enemies.The limited-edition version had a release date of 2008 and came with an array of items. Instead of a regular Xbox case, this edition comes in a SteelBook case. This case is sturdy and looks fantastic on a shelf. The SteelBook case also includes alternate cover art.
