However, the mecate came all twisted and coiled up in the package, and it was really hard to effectively get out kinks and twists. It won't lay flat. The quality is good, and I was able to get the mecate tied. However, the bosal won't fit around my bashkir curly's nose. So I'm hoping I can mess with the mecate tie enough to get the bosal to fit. Just be aware, the bosal seems more designed for smaller to average horses - average size typically fit mine.
