I connected one last night with a length of wire for an antenna and it worked fine . I should add some power decoupling capacitor between pins 2 and 4 . I may make a small PCB with some power saver cct. like a CMOS 555 to extend the battery life of batteries ... I recommend this seller for any HAM or Electronics experimenter . Bob KD5TFI
