    Pump works just fine. But the 2 hose tai...

    Pump works just fine. But the 2 hose tails were not suitable. They tapper down, narrowing at the end and this meant it was impossible to get a tight enough fit without fuel leaking. Luckily I had 2 for the pump I was replacing and they had a lip on the end, allowing the clip to tighten the pipe without a leak. But as I say, pump is good.

    Facet fuel pump

    I have tried 3 different types of solid state fuel pump for a 2 stroke racing kart and they have all failed within 3 laps of the track because of the monumental vibration produced by the historic 2 stroke engine, The Facet has stood up to this so far.

    If this works as well as its predecessor, I'll be well pleased. Time will tell. Lower pressure suited to classic type carbs (SU, Stromberg CD)
