    Poor grip

    Like most mechanics or DIY's, I buy tools to make my job faster or easier, so when I saw this tool, I thought, great, no more tools slipping off and me repositioning them to tighten a clamp. On the first clamp I tired it on, tighten a little then would not hold a grip. Stick with a good set of magnetic nut drivers. This tool will not hold a grip.

    A flawed design

    At first sight these lock on nut drivers would appear to be, just the job, but the reality is, that they are a deeply flawed design The workable length of the shaft is only 5". The handle is a nice design but rather large and bulky. The locking lever is rather large and cumbersome, though works very well. They are very large for the nut and bolts sizes they are designed for. The major flaw with this design is at the locking end of the driver. Its just to bulky, which makes it unusable in a lot of situations. I purchased this set to get the 5/16" specifically to undo the cylinder head bleed screw on an R50 Mini Cooper. This screw is very close to another fitting so space was very limited. Other nut drivers can reach and engage the bleed screw okay, but of course cant grip the bolt and ...

    Like having a third hand!

    Trying to keep a hose clamp in place while tightening it is a two handed job at best! But in tight spaces its next to impossible! With the Loc Driver its a breeze no matter where the clamp is! Great tool at a great price! I just wish I would have invented them!
