I purchased this scope for hunting in low light conditions. In SC you can hunt one hour past legal sunset and one hour before legal sunrise. I own 2 Zeiss conquest and 2 Nikon golds which do not have the illuminated dot. I was having a hard time finding the middle of my cross hairs 40 min after legal sunset even though I could see the sillouete of the deer plainly. Granted at this timme you cant put antleers on them with these scopes but if a deer has a very large body I shoot it. If its a doe I have tags so Im completely legal. With this scope with the firedot you can make 75 to 80 yd eithcal shots by accurately placing the firedot on the deers shoulder in very low light conditions. The glass compares to the zeiss conquest and the nikon golds. I will buy another before next seasom for my 7wsm. I think its a good buy for the money and I really like mine so far. Havent killed any deer with it yet, havent seen any large bodied deer in the food plots after legal sunset or before sunset since I bought the scope. Did shoot a fox that was running at 75 yds. I was dieing to try the firedot reticle. The firedot works very well turns down very low so you have no glare off the firedot when using in low light conditions. This is a very nice scope and it was in my price range. I would definately buy another one.Read full review
Not a Swarovski but at half the price it's a keeper. Very clear, will have no problems seeing game at legal hunting times. Illuminated #4 reticle Is great.
