Not good for holes in wellies
I’m not qualified to comment on whether these work well on bicycle tubes as I didn’t use them for that. I have a pair of very old but very expensive wellies that I’ve walked literally thousands of dog-walk miles in which started to perish a couple of years ago. Occasionally they would let water in and I would use a bicycle puncture repair kit to successfully remedy this. I saw these slime scabs and thought they’d save me time as I now had several very small holes to mend. I prepared the surrounding areas well and followed the instructions carefully but sadly two of the scabs leaked before the end of the next walk. I guess they couldn’t stand up to all the flexing. I then repaired the holes again with normal rubber solution and rubber patches and as usual the repairs were successful and ... Punctures made simple
Works well with no messy glues. I cramp the repair for five minutes to be sure. The only dòwnside is how hard it is to separate the backing plastic.

Super quick in dry conditions, but useless in the wet.
I've used these many times and they are great. However, in the wet they are hard to use because as soon as the scab gets wet, they won't stick. I also tried to use these scabs with a tyre filled with slime liquid, to discover that the green liquid will ooze out of the punctured area, causing the scab to fail by detaching the scab. Basically, scabs don't like the wet. so be careful and ensure your innertube is super dry. Other than the issue with the wet application, they're convenient, fast and work well. If these had a glue that could stick to a wet surface, then they'd be worth twice the price.I've used these many times and they are great.
