BACK OF BOOK SAYS: THIS ELMINATES GRAC E MACEACHIN ON ALL 3 COUNTS. a hellion of the first order, the alluring infuriating woman would be nothing mre than a passing temptation to an upstanding gnetleman like richard if it werent for the fact that she is trying to blackmail his father. The beginning is good, it starts where the last book left off. and the ending is a surprise which you don't see coming. the road trip..........well, it started to feel like that wandering around a maze trying to find a way out, but stopped before it reached that point. it took a little longer than i would have liked for the hero/heroine to make that connection..... and there were a few inconsistenices in the story. as he borrowed a pillow and blanket so he could sleep on the floor, and then the next morning he is opening his door to hers????????? you lost me here....... i was a little annoyed when the heroine got so bent out of shape in regards to the hero's prior betrothal, and did not wait for an explaination. but the mystery or puzzel to be solved was good, it might be one of her better plot books thus far. i recommend you read these in order. 1. married in haste 2. scandalous marriage 3. marriage contract 4. temptations of a governess 5. price of indiscretion 6. in bed with a duke 7. bedding an heiress 8. highlanders bed 9. seduction at christmas 10. the earl claims his wife 11. marriage ring. coming soon his christmas pleasureRead full review
