Great for a Tourits, Not a Seeker.
I bought this book because I am planning a trip to Tibet some time next year. The book is not an in-depth coverage of Tibet or provides a deep insight into the culture. It is not what it is written for. However, it is a very interesting and rather important read for anyone planning to visit Tibet. For a book of this type, I found it sinfully lacking in pictures, which is why I gave it 4 out of 5. I would recommend to would-be visitors to Tibet, but not to someone looking for in-depth coverage of this lost nation.I bought this book because I am planning a trip to Tibet some time next year.
