Great product at a great price. The brush that is attached to the lid is very small. I found it best to pour a 1/4 of bottle into a container and use a artist paint brush (10mm wide). Great results and an even coat. It will dry up if you pour all the contents into a separate container. Better to use 1/4 bottle at a time.

How to get a good finish

Followed the instructions but the tiny brush took too long to get it on the glass and there were streaks and uneven coverage and bits that "rucked" as I'd gone over them. Swiped some of my wife's nail polish remover and that took it off easily. Take two ! Cleaned again as per instructions but this time got a 20mm artists paintbrush..a hair one and poured about a third of the bottle into a small glass dish. Immediately dipped the brush and gave long even strokes from top to bottom probably took about four dips and eight brush strokes and had an even really acceptable finish.. My advice..don't even try with the little brush and make sure everything is spotlessly clean and ready to hand before you start.

OK Cheap solution if a cheap look is all you need.

Arrived on time but the laquer had separated into the varnish and colour component and would not stir back into an amber glaze just a defective bottle i pressume so not all will be like this it was not old or out of date just defective so just bad luck i guess tbh it smeeled more like nail varnish than paint or laquer. i added more solvent to it to break it down which seemed to work, applied it to an original SEIM gless lens inside but it just looked streaky and clearly painted maybe because i had to add more solvent to it. I wont complain it was only a low value item i will just buy a proper Bosatta amber lens as i should of done in the first place. Maybe others had better luck with it.

  • For the classics

Bought this to paint my headlamp lenses; came up really well and the only downside is the brush tip is tiny, so it takes a while.

  • Does the job it was meant to do.

I'm no expert on paint products but I used this Amber Lacquer to turn a damaged front cycle light into a good rear light by painting over the lens and it works a treat, so really I can't say anymore than that. Whether it withstands the harsh British Weather which we have here in the North West of the UK only time will tell but there is more than enough to re-do it again should it start to come off. Going off what my better half says it is very similar to Nail Varnish so I suggest if you want a neat job done, ASK A FEMALE.

  • It's yellow

Arrived well packaged and ahead of the due-by date. Easy to apply but definitely not amber. It's a pale yellow but good results were achieved by using three coats and allowing it to dry in between coats.
