    Good value, but not bright

    The price of the product compared to others in the category is good. Build quality is good. I intended to use those for my celica fog lights as direct replacement of the halogen H3 bulbs. Those LED H3 units fit perfectly in the 5th gen Toyota celica stock bulb reflector unit, but they are not even half as bright as the halogen counterpart. Would recommend only for DRL fit. You cannot expect neither an upgrate or a headlight fittment.

    My first led replacement bulbs

    These bulbs are VERY white but are not powerful e.g. a halogen bulb draws 55w and these draw 1w!!! They are perfect for what I wanted, a work light that gives reasonable light but doesn’t use 5amps and can be on for hours! These would make great daytime running lights or possibly reversing lights, but you couldn’t drive on them!!! They are a physical replacement but NOT a light output replacement!!!

    Ok for day-running lights, not so good for spot lights. Fairly bright, just not as bright as standard bulbs. Will be trying other led bulbs.
