  • The title (The Cavern) was cool enough

Being in to Caving myself , I find the subject matter very interesting although after the recent influx of cave horror films ie , The Cave and The Descent, this comes in a very poor third. While the other two films where big on character and plot development and in all but a few scenes technically profficient. The Cavern had a group of (I know what you did last summer scruttochs)claiming pole position confusing the viewer even further.Suddenly we are in a desert, then a camp site with a very strange glow the cast telling each other how the prospect of finding a new cave excites them etc, etc. Well no thanks I would rather be stuck down the cave with the canubalastic air crash dweller than this motely crew. Hope this was of help to you . HP

  • The Cavern, The Movie

A bunch of people descending into a cave is oh so predictable. The Descent was top class and still is today, chased by a very close second is Cole Housers, The Cave. So with this, I was dying to see The Cavern. Unfortunately, The Cavern does not even enter the same class or league of the above two movies and The Cavern wishes it was the Descent. A poor, predictable story line, dodgy acting and very poor fuzzy camera work that seriously bugged me that was not what I wanted. To add insult to injury, I gave this film my full time to the end and was horrified that literally in the final three to five minutes of the movie, the film makers thought it was a good idea to show a brutal rape scene for you to finish with your popcorn and Cola. The Cavern, disapointing and in bad taste, don't ...

  • The Cavern

This is one of the worst films I have ever seen!!!! The whole thing was rubbish the gore, story line, the reality of the cave (no question they were in a studio) My boyfriend bought this flm as we both liked The Cave and Descent, but this is nothing compared to them. I think they only had 10p to spend on it!!! Don't waste your money!!!

  • SHOULD BE PUT IN A CAVE AND LEFT THERE

If you've seen The Descent and enjoyed it then this may take your fancy. However, after watching it you will be put off watching any similar films ever again! Poor acting, poor script and all round a massive dissapointment. My theory is that the 'baddy' in this movie knew how bad it was going to be so went to live in a cave and went a bit psycho as he is totally embarressed to have any part in such a poor production.

  • WOT A LOAD OF CRAP

I bought this film because I thought it would be like the decent or the cave. In places it tries hard to match them but fails miserably to much mucking about with camera angles and the actings not up to much. Must be on a real tight budget. could not see half of scenes due to very poor lighting
