Seems to protect bare aluminium (and also plastics) pretty well. Smells like playdoh too - Love it :)
I found this sealant after I polished up the clipons (handlebars) on my bike but ofc being bare aluminium they went dull and started to show signs of corrosion in no time.... That's when I found this stuff and so far it seems to be working very well to keep all the bits shiny. It's still quite early days yet but I've peen applying it every other week or so (it's only a small area) and it's been working great. I've also just discovered that it seems to work quite nicely for bringing plastics back to their original colour (particularly matt black) - I'm hoping it'll do the same water beading thing on that as it des on aluminium. Oh and another thing I really like about this stuff is it smells like playdoh. I opened the pot and the smell hit me straight away. Instant blast back to ... Dust washed off very easy
Finally got to use this & it was worth the wait! Had my alloys refurbed so i sealed the wheels twice with poorboys - glad i did.. Washed the wheels with ease, didn't leave it too long to wash the wheels but when i did the dust came off easily.. will be treating them every 2-3 months depending on car usage :o) 5*****

A very rich, boys product.
New car and wanted to keep the wheels in good condition. Looked at all the products and although this is not the cheapest it certainly is the best and you need to use very little to get a brilliant shine. When you come to clean again the dust just washes off .

This stuff is the dog's bollocks!
This stuff is the dog's bollocks! Although it is a little pricey, it is very easy to apply and given three good coats and some drying time, a few weeks of tests (=abuse) on polished alloy wheels have kept them really nice. Recommended.

Great price for an excellent product
This wheel wax goes on with a foam applicator easily leave for a couple of minutes out of direct sun and polish it off with a microfiber cloth. Wheels glisten and have a smooth to the touch feel., I did a second coat as it suggests A few drives later I washed the wheels and what had stuck washed off easily and the wheels looked as good as new again. Brilliant product well worth the money.
