Very fairly priced. Speedy delivery in 3 days. Strong PVC packaging was used but unfortunately there was a hole in the bag and damage to the book cover as a result (minor) which may have been averted by a layer of bubble wrap or cardboard packaging on this heavy hardback book with sharp corners. Awesome book, great value for money, priceless and a must have
This book is very practical and exposes alot of issues that social workers deal with while in the field working with service users. It provides very crucial skills need, knowledge needs for social workers and takes into consideration different contexts that social workers operate in. It has provided me with practical ways of dealing with race, culture, sexual orientation issues in a more real manner, and not just theoretical banter. Real cases have been used to demonstrate working in ananti oppressive enabling environment and practical constraints have also been ably demonstrated and reader given leeway to deal with issues in a more humane, enabling and empowering manner. I bought this book because it was cheap for its rich information. I could not get it from the local library too and ...
