    Comanche Moon title is appropriate. Shadow Riders title is okay

    Loved seeing the prequels to Lonesome Dove for the story line. But the violence - sometimes extremely barbaric - makes me wonder if the most extreme really happened in reality. Also reminds me how we stole this country from the Indigenous Peoples as if we had a right to it. Had seen Shadow Riders before and loved it for both the story and the beloved actors. Broken Trail wasn't in this used DVD set.

    Western Smorgasbord

    I love the Larry McMurtry westerns and needed Comanche Moon to complete my Lonesome Dove movie collection. I'd seen Broken Trail on TV and liked both the story and Robert Duvall who always does a great job. Broken Trail represents itself as a docudrama based on a true story. Historical facts are presented at the movie's conclusion. Broken Trail is a movie worth watching repeatedly. Shadow Riders was a freebie that came along with the two movies I was interested in. It was an action-packed Western worth the watch.

    Great Westerns!!!

    These are all fantastic movies/mini-series. We bought this specifically for the only "Lonesome Dove" missing movie in our collection, with Comanche Moon, and discovered 2 other great Westerns at a fantastic price! Very happy with our purchase.

    Great collection

    Any western ( or other genres ) that Robert Duvall stars in, are worth watching. I can only comment on "Broken Trail" so far, but it is a excellent story. One in which the "weak" are protected by the "strong". I is nice you get several "separate" DVDs. Good purchase

    Well worth the money.

    Comanche Moon and Broken Trail are excellent mini series. Well acted and some of the best westerns I've seen. All three are a great bargain and worth watching.
