    Best ever secateurs

    I first bought these Amtech secateurs from Harrogate flower show after seeing a demonstration. That was 5yrs ago and after much use, as well as leaving them outside in all weathers, they were beginning to look worn but still working. I decided to get another set to keep for "best". The original is still nearly as good as the new one and would be even better if I had looked after them! They come with integrated pruning knife and sharpener so can easily be kept in good order if you were not as neglectful as I am.

    good action on thick stems .

    with arthritus in my hand l bought these secateurs , in hope they would be easier than the usual ones . but the plastic parts are a bit hit & miss , and still not any easier . action good function good , if you have a good grip .

    Good secateurs for the slightly thicker branches

    Was very satisfied with my first pair so bought a second. Take the strain out of cutting thicker branches with their double action cut. and easier on my arthritic hands. Comfortable grip. Come with a small sharpener fitted into the body and only complaint is that I had not realised this could be knocked out when working so lost my first one in bushes. THIS pair came unpacketed and with NO Instructions. You need to know that you make a first cut, allow the secateurs to open and self-adjust then cut again and repeat as necessary. This allows the mechanism to respond.

    Easy to use ratchet pruners

    A superb product easy to use and clean. Great to have sharpener and oil to keep in order I found very easy to use and did not struggle afterwards because ratchet took off so much pressure love them as so sharp
