    Outstanding Collectable

    I've enjoyed "The Wizard of Oz" for 60 some years. I've never had a really high quality copy of the film until now. The 70th Anniversary edition has about everything movie buffs could want, and my first viewing of the film on this disc was a real treat. I have some hundreds of films in my collection, and I watch a movie to relax after a tough day, sometimes reading or catching up on correspondence as the movie plays. I'm sure I'll be watching this DVD at least 3 or 4 times yet before the year is out.

    The greatest movie ever!

    The amazing special effects make it hard to believe it was made in 1939. Every time I watch it I see something new and that's difficult to do when I've watched it well over 100 times. Watch for the peacock by the tin man's cottage. It may be just women fighting over shoes but I really love it.

    One of the greatest movies of all time.

    You ever go to a speech and the introduce the speaker with, "A woman who needs no introduction..." and then go on to sing her praises for 15 minutes?! Well, this is one of the greatest movies of all time. It needs no review, so I am stopping here.
