    An excellent DVD filmed with a live audience in 2018 at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The cast is outstanding, Bonny Langford was the final Dorothy Brock in this production and the very best - as is Philip Bertioli as Billy Lawler, he gives his all and is the best tap of anyone else who had appeared in the role - see final scene at the end! DVD came quicker than expected, was well packed and undamaged. Would heartily recommend this seller to anyone considering buying from the USA.

    Great Record of the ' showbiz ' musical of all time

    Good filming / record of great STAGE show . Downside , as with many dvds of this type , too many unflattering (?) close-ups of performers . ie best viewed live from seat in theatre .

    WOW WHAT A MUSICAL!

    This is the best version of 42nd Street. Filmed in Theatre Royal Drury Lane over a number of performances and then edited so that, instead of seeing a full stage all the time, it is edited just like a film - amazing! Shot towards the end of 2018 it has all the best cast that appeared in the four main roles -Bonnie Langford, Tom Lister, Clare Halse and Philip Bertioli - the latter is just great in the role of Billie Lawler and, although not a "household" name, He outshines all the previous actors in this role! When reviewing we must not forget the rest of the cast, they are all terrific! The dancing is great with so much talent I never get tired of viewing the DVD. DVD came well packaged with no damage and in a quicker time than originally advertised. Highly Recommended.
