What is to teach my great nephew that is six years old and my granddaughter. We are working on a community service project to make tote bags for food, pantries and homeless shelters and I thought this would be perfect to help them understand.

Why I bought this book for my grandaughter
This book is in my local library; there is plenty of sewing projects, actual sewing with a machine, and learning by quizzes, puzzles, color photos, easy step-by-step instructions, etc, that my 7 year old grandaughter and I can do together. Actually, she can do most of it alone, with just a little of my help. It's all about learning, and playing at the same time. My grandaughter looked at the library book and liked it, the projects in it, and is motivated to sew. However, the library loan-time is only about 5 weeks: not enough time to do many of these projects.
