Had to replace a fairly new temp gauge that was ultra junk. It’s true: “you get what you pay for” I bought this one. I like the dimming feature for personal illuminating setting, day/night 6 settings in all. The sending sensor was well made, not like the brand X I wasted my money on. The instructions were concise and straight forward. Ample wire for connections. It makes several fast sweeps of the dial when you first power up and when you shut down. I think this is some sort of self test mode it goes through each time. It starts off at 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Actually this a good base to start with, it keeps the sweep of the dial more condensed and does away with less critical unnecessary numbers. The analog matches the digital readout all the time. Glad I found this product
This is a replacement for a very old dashboard temp gauge in a recently acquired 1977 Airstream Argosy Motorhome. The gauge is a contrasting modern touch of high tech in a low tech environment. The digital display is an extra-nice feature as well.
