He played with some of the biggest names in the game including Alan Hansen, Graeme Souness, Kenny Dalglish and George Best and was between the posts for some of the classic moments in Scottish football in the 70s and 80s, such as Thistle s 4-1 League Cup victory over Celtic, the 1977 Wembley classic and the '78 and '82 World Cup campaigns.
