These are VERY strong and 3 of the 6 magnets chipped into pieces in the first few minutes just from snapping against each other (from 10 inches away!). The 1/4 length is hard to pick up due to the strength. A 1/2 length might be easier.

- g***g (594)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseRare earth neodymium magnets are incredibly strong for the size…nothing at all like those old cabinet magnets that lost their magnetism in a few years after purchase. I use a Forstner bit to drill out the holes to correct depth, and a bit of fast-set adhesive epoxy to adhere them securely. Washers are also available for the mating surface, or another magnet, provided they are inserted North to South correctly…your choice. Two magnets have a far stronger attraction than the washers.
