The medium-length straps allow you to carry it over your shoulder or sling it across your forearm. It zips securely closed along the top edge. This bag measures 10-inches tall, 16.75-inches long, and 5-inches deep. There is a zipped pocket on the inside of the purse as well as pouches for phones and other items.
