Visually stunning, super-informative insight from one of the masters of concept art. Every time I flip through it, I'm inspired to sketch up something. A must-have for any Product Designer, Industrial Designer, or Concept Art aficionado.

An amazing collection of images by a modern master
This book is representative of the scope of Syd Mead's work over the decades, his amazing technical knowledge combined with his matchless artist's ability. Mead has designed and drawn everything from ships and airplane interiors to concept designs for movies (Blade Runner & Aliens). He's influenced 2 generations of concept artists, illustrators and designers. I already had a copy of this book, but it's gotten a bit dog-eared thru repeated viewing. I strongly recommend this book (or Sentinel or Sentury) to anyone who wants to be inspired. Mead's been called a modern Leonardo Da Vinci-this book shows why!This book is representative of the scope of Syd Mead's work over the decades, his amazing technical knowledge combined with his matchless artist's ability.
